Cake sale success

It was a great day for anyone with a sweet tooth at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School on Wednesday 16th February. Junior house prefects had been hard at work making cakes the previous evening and had arranged a cake sale at lunchtime.

A puzzling way to raise the profile of maths

Year 7 pupils at the Royal Alexandra and Albert School had a very puzzling maths lesson this week. It was part of the School's 'Happy Puzzle Day' which was organised by Head of Maths, Miss Moran.

Essay Competition Success

Five students from Wymondham College , Emily Hoogkamer, Matthew Farmer, Lucy Soudain, Ben Partridge and Rosie Baines have been chosen as runners up in the 13-15 year old age group of the Baillie Gifford & Financial Mail Essay Competition. They make up one quarter of the runners up for the whole competition.

Wymondham College Becomes an Academy

COLLEGE RUGBY TEAM STEP CLOSER TO QUARTER FINALS

The Wymondham College U15 Rugby team scored a fantastic victory on Friday to take them into round seven of the Daily Mail Cup.

Top state boarding school is rated as 'outstanding'

Ofsted inspectors have recently published a report which rates boarding at Lancaster Royal Grammar School as 'outstanding' across all categories. Their inspection, which had a short lead-in time, summarised boarding at the school as 'an outstanding service in every respect'.
