TRIATHLETES RAISE £1,500

Edward Walker (Head of School) and Harry Browne, both boarders at Old Swinford Hospital, Stourbridge, competed in their first Triathlon finishing in very respectable times of 1 hour 19 minutes and 1 hour 25 minutes respectively.

The 17-year-old students entered the 'Sprint' category in The Warwickshire Triathlon which comprises a 400m swim, 23km cycle and a 5km run.

A West Lindsey MP has expressed his full support for state boarding schools at a top-level gathering in London.

Outstanding Boarding Inspection

Steyning Grammar School has become one of a kind following a recent Ofsted inspection.

It is the first, and it believes the only, state boarding school in the country to be judged outstanding in all areas under new Ofsted inspection criteria.
