Mr Mike Barton, Chief Constable of Durham Constabulary, was guest speaker at Lancaster Royal Grammar School's annual Speech Day and Prize Giving recently. Mr Barton attended LRGS from 1968 to 1975, during which time his teacher described him as a 'no nonsense boy full of every sort of enthusiasm'.

The Soldiers perform with The Duke of York's Youth Choir
